A field of 2500 runners containing marathon international Jenny Clague from Liverpool Harriers set off on Sunday 13th May for the 21st Liverpool women's 10K. The race was run in excellent weather conditions and was won by Rachael Moore from Wigan Phoenix in a time of 37.36. There was a tremendous run from Claire Walton (Dave's daughter) who ran 40.42 and finished 7th. What an asset Claire would be if she ran regularly for Wallasey teams. New member Cathy Cardus who ran 62.05 (61.27 chip time) should also feel well pleased with her performance and her 875th place.
