Mike Stanley led Wallasey home in the August Wirral Seaside Run. Mike dipped under 17 minutes for 4th place. He was closely followed by Greg Jones 5th (17:11) and Tony Barbat 6th (17:19). Heavy rain destroyed some of the runners' numbers and also soaked the large contingent of hardy Wallasey supporters.
