Plenty of personal bests at the Chester Marathon as some of the club's runners took advantage of the flat course and favourable conditions. Colin Palmer was first back in a superb 02:57:28, this included a negative split with Colin running the second 13.1 miles one and half minutes quicker than the first. Colin was second in his age category and 58th overall. Personal bests were also achieved by Nick Holt (03:18), Mike Green (03:21), Sallie Holt (03:22), Mike Griffiths (03:28) and Lisa Carney (03:57).
