Helen Anne Stansfield continued her good for with a seventh place at the Birkenhead Park 5 miler. The race was held on a warm and sunny evening and 348 runners completed the course. Age category wins were achieved by Michelle Alty and Rob Pearse and three of Wallasey A.C.'s runners dipped under 30 minutes - Rob Pearse 27:54, Mike Green 29:29 and Karl Pickstock 29.44.
