All proceeds from the Brett Jones 10k will support the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund (www.pcrf.org.uk), the race is run in memory of Wirral born boxer Brett Jones who sadly passed away after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Wallasey A C runners did well in the race picking up first and second place with Jay Walker (34:24) just edging out John Thelwell (34:49).
