The Lyme Park Half Marathon started from Lyme Hall near Stockport and went along the Gritstone Trail south with views for miles around. The route then traversed up and along Kerridge Ridge, past the famous White Nancy landmark and then on to Bollington. There the race joined the Macclesfield Canal for a flatter section back towards Lyme and the finish. Caet Cuthbert completed the course and described the race as "A very wet half marathon! Lots of steep bits, mud and cows."
