The Silverdale Circuit started from Milnthorpe in Cumbria, the route was 21 miles in length and passed through Dalham Deer Park, Leighton Moss Nature Reserve, alongside Hawes Water and then on to single track along the stunning coastline. An ascent of Arnside Knott was followed by an opportunity to climb the Fairy Steps where you would have a wish granted if you reach the top without touching the sides. The highest points offered outstanding views of Morecambe Bay and The Lakes. Five runners from the club made the trip, Phil Cuthbert finished in 3:43 and Sue Reynolds, Katherine Andrews, Caet Cuthbert and Maria Hunter ran together and returned in 06:12.
