The West Cheshire 10m (formerly Cheshire 10m) started and finished at Cheshire County Sports Club and was run on closed roads around the Cheshire countryside. George Gillies ran a superb 57:56 for eighth place. After the race George said "First ever 10 mile race. Will take that time all day long given it being a hillyish course and also pretty windy."
